This dining fly is everything that it is advertised to be. It packs compactly into it's own waterproof ditty bag and would be ideal for group backpacking trips.

This tarp is all that it's advertised to be. I needed an absolutely waterproof, light-weight tarp to cover the cushions of new outdoor furniture. The 1st day my new furniture was setup, we had a rockin' thunderstorm with a strong downpour of rain. I was concerned that the water would soak through the tarp, which was sitting directly on the cushions and pillows (not suspended above it, as would be the case for camping.) After the rain, I noted the water had rolled off the tarp, leaving it barely damp, and my furniture was dry as a bone! Perfect! With today's "deep seating" collections prevelant in outdoor furniture designs, I needed a solution for midwest weather condtions (other than a big, bulky, cheap-looking plastic box sitting on my deck.) This is it! Compared to plastic or vinyl tarps available at big box stores, this is easy to handle, small to store, has plenty of grommet holes and loops for securing it, and won't crack or split in the hot sun. It also keeps the cushions from fading! I consider it the best investment I've made for my outdoor furniture, and I'm thrilled with it.

I went to the AquaQuest(dot)net website to get more info while researching tarps and came right back to Amazon to purchase one. I have had it out in some heavy winds and 1 VERY cold night in the woods. The tarp has worked flawlessly and it is big enough to crisscross the ends to make a tent out of my hammock. I did end up sewing a couple of tabs to the ends of it long ways so it can be used 12' length wise.
