I have to admit I had high hopes for this shelter. Once the shelter was setup it actually was a really nice design. Extremely stable in the wind and actually has a really nice form factor with respect to its overall design.However, there are some dramatic downfalls with this product. It's made extremely cheaply. Literally with one use, being extremely careful with putting it together, it ripped off one of the rings which holds one of the polls, and tore several sections of the cloth loops while constructing the unit. Very, very, VERY, horribly made. Definitely not worth the money. I think they built this as cheaply as possible.What manufacturers continually misunderstand is taking into consideration the consumer. There are many of us out there that actually do look for and appreciate quality. If you make a quality product, we-will-come! Please stop making this cheap crap. If this was a quality product which was well built and could take the stresses of wind on the beach, had a solid construction and high upf rating (120-150+) to protect from the sun, I would have given this 5 stars easily. But it doesn't. It actually doesn't even come close. The only thing this has is a great form factor. Meaning, once it's built, it's got great privacy and sun protection. I like the privacy aspect because if you need to change your clothes, you can simply go in the enclosure, swap clothing in privacy, and you're on your way. All this company effectively did was tease me, take my money, and piss me off that I effectively lost $100 and now have a ripped up enclosure which basically I now have to spend MORE money on to fix. Not happy.But this product is so badly made, honestly, I'm convinced with the $100 I spent on purchasing this item. Honestly, I could have made one much more durable MYSELF with less money. I'm so convinced, I actually did it! I went to home depot and got some polls, rope, and then found a canvas cover, and ta-da! Beach Enclosure which cost me not even $40! AND totally blocks the sun. Not all that attractive, but does the job. Come on people, QUALITY!My advice, save your money. Find a better enclosure than this one. And please don't get me wrong. I so rarely leave a bad review on a product. I mean, it has to be REALLY bad for me to leave a bad review. I hesitate to do that with this product because it's got such a nice form factor. Even when you set it up, it's a gorgeous shelter for the beach. But it's so badly made, honestly, it's almost offensive. Especially for $100!My advice to the company making this product. Have tougher rings for the polls to fit into. Stronger elastic in the polls for durability. Toughen up and make it easier for the polls to loop through the loops when your sliding your polls through. Actually, don't even have cloth loops, make them like plastic rings or something. This will also help with building and tearing down the product. Also, have use a tougher more durable water proof material to take the harshness of the beach (wind, rain, etc.). People spend a LOT of time on the beach, and if the enclosure is durable enough, you can withstand a sudden rainstorm without having to pack up and go to the car until it blows over.Honestly, just do those few things to help toughen up the unit, and I'll GLADLY purchase this item without hesitation, simply because of the form factor. It's a gorgeous enclosure once its setup. Perfect size space inside, nice height, and beautiful structure. It's just the materials are really-REALLY- REEEEAAALLLLY poorly made. Come on guys, don't go for the quick buck. You want to retain your customers, not simply take their money, piss them off so they never trust your products again. You make a quality product, and I'll come back again-and again-and again! Promise!!! You'd be surprised how people can justify price, when the product is of quality.

This shelter is large enough for the fam, however there are a few things. It only says uv protection on the item tag so is it really 120upf? The shelter I got is light grey with blue trim, and there is some stains on the fabric not sure from what. Lastly upon disassembly for the first time one poles shock cord came apart, also poles seem to scratch easy. But since I need this for next week I'll make it work.
