The Shelter's sturdy, one-piece 28mm steel frame sets up quickly and easily, giving you an instant 13'x13' shaded area, while taking up only 10'x10' on the ground -- with a generous center height of 9'7". The Shelter sets up easily in only 3 minutes, with Coleman's exclusive push-button release levers -- so your fingers are safe while setting up and taking down. The heavy-duty 150D poly oxford canopy features SPF 50+ UV Guard protection from the sun's rays, while a four-sided roof vent releases trapped heat, making the shade even more comfortable.

I have been looking for a large size canopy for some time. Tried another brand last year. It didn't make it through the summer due to water pooling issues and the inevitable frame collapse. TheColeman seems to fit the bill. I use this shelter primarily for camping. Setup is fairly easy and quick. Shelter size is very good (placed over a large picnic table with room for a grill and room to cook)and the 10 by 10 footprint is great for narrow areas. Frame seems much sturdier than canopies I've had in the past. The shelter seems very stable but would probably use the supplied tie downs in windy conditions. No problems with water pooling or leaks. Rolling bag seems to be well made and has an expander to aid in getting everything back in (wish they had put a pocket on the outside for the canopy). I was pleasantly surprised by the small size of the bag and the weight of the unit. Coleman has a winner here.

This unit will not hold up to heavy use. We purchased in June and by December the top had ripped to shreds. Might be good for occasional use but if you plan to use it a lot buy another product. Setup was quite simple. Top needs to be reinforced where it connects to frame. Over time the wind causes the top to rub against the frame and it wears then and then the top forms holes. Then shortly afterwards the wind simply tears the top up.Sam

I live in Oregon and we go camping all year--so portable shelter is a must for camping in the rain. Of course, when there is sun, it provides a nice shady area, too. It was a little tricky the first time we set it up, but after that, it is very easy. This was a great purchase using Amazon Prime--shipped right to my door for free.
